We had a great time competing and judging. It was all hands on deck for our group today. Amy won the Grand Championship in Adult Black Belt Soft Style Traditional forms and Matthew won the Grand Championship in Adult Black Belt Soft Style Open forms.

Our annual Founder's Day Celebration held at Floata this year. Special thanks to sifu Roman Ruiz for joining us this year. This is a special time for everyone who practises our style of martial arts to get together. I have even included a youtube link to sifu Matthew's hoe set that he pereformed that night!

BC Open is always a fun tournament and this year's was not exception. Amy placed 2nd place in B/B 18+ Soft Contemporary and 1st in 18+ Chinese Forms. We also bumped into Sukwinder and had fun watching him fight in the Canada vs US point fighting!

Had a great time at the Tiger Balm this year. Amy won first place in B/B 35+ Adult Open and Traditional forms and Joseph won second 35+ Adult Under Belt forms. We even bumped into an old friend from the past!

Always have a great time judging at their tournament. A lot of great up and coming talent!

We had a great time. Did some judging and then competing. Amy won the Grand Championship in Adult Black Belt Soft Style Traditional forms and Grand Championship in Adult Black Belt Soft Style Open forms.

We were at Creekside Park near the Telus Science World for the Drumming Festival. They managed to break a Guinness World Record for the most nationality of drummers drumming. Matthew, Dale and I were busy handing out drums to spectators. Everyone had a great time.

Held in Port Alberni every year. Congrats to Joseph on winning the Adult Under Belt Grand Championship. Amy placed first in 35+ Black Belt Forms and 45+ Black Belt Forms. Everyone had a great time.

This tournament was held at the Richmond Olympic Oval. Amy won second in the 35+ Instructor level Traditional Hand Forms and Joseph won third in the 35+ Non-Instructor Level Traditional Hand Forms.

Even though competition was tough, Amy got first place in the 18 and over Traditional Soft Style. I included a picture taken when we were judging. Everyone had a great time.

Our annual Founder's Day banquet or JoSeeDan held annually at Floata. This year we had Linda and David with us to celebrate.

Happy Canada Day! We were out with Wushu BC to celebrate. First at Creek Side Park across from Science World for the Canada 150 years Drums across Canada and later at the Chinese Cultural Centre for the 80 Lions Celebration.

Amy came in second in the Adult Black Belt 35+ division. Sukwinder also surprised everyone by presenting a $1000 cheque to Frank Clayton to support one of his students.

It was held at Pink Pearl Restaurant this year introducing the new Executive Board members.

Congratulations to Joseph on his 2nd place win in 35+ Soft Style Open/Traditional and Amy on her 1st place in 35+ Black Belt Open/Traditional Forms. She also won the 18+ Black Belt Traditional Forms/Weapons Grand Champion trophy.
